The characters from Marvel Studios' Disney+ television shows will indeed show up in the movies.

Speaking to Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige dropped a ton of Marvel and Star Wars-related tidbits, including the confirmation that brand new television characters like Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight won't be ignored by the feature films. The plan is to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the small screen.

This means the new television shows won't go the way of the previous Marvel shows like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Cloak & Dagger. These series were part of the MCU and reacted to the events of the films, but the films themselves were never directly influenced by the shows.

Disney+ represents a shift for not only the ever-growing streaming wars, but also for the MCU. The push for interconnectivity between film and television suggests you will need a Disney+ subscription to stay up-to-date on the MCU and its characters.

Disney+ launches Nov. 12, with Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk all airing at a future date on the streaming platform.
