Years after first being announced, filming has finally started on "The Predator." There's not a lot known about the film itself. The film has slowly filled out its cast over the past few months, but an official synopsis for the film has not yet been released. We do know, though, that the film will be bloody and rated R. Black confirmed this in a follow-up tweet.

"The Predator" will be Black's follow-up to 2016's "The Nice Guys," a '70s thriller that starred Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling. The next "Predator" film will be the first in the franchise since 2010's "Predators."

Written and directed by Shane Black, “The Predator” stars Olivia Munn, Boyd Holbrook, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key and 50 Cent. The film is scheduled for release in theaters on Feb. 9, 2018.
