The series will reportedly reimagine the fan-favorite show as a half-hour single-camera comedy that will follow the titular horror-inspired family as the navigate life and try to fit in among modern Brooklynites in the New York City bureau's most hipster neighbourhood. This is of course in contrast to the original series, which took place in the fictional California suburb Mockingbird Heights.
