Twentieth Century Fox and star Bruce Willis reportedly are considering for young actors for the coveted role of John McClane’s son in A Good Day to Die Hard.

According to Deadline, the list has been narrowed to 31-year-old (Detroit 1-8-7, G.I. Joe: Retaliation), D.J. Cotrona 33-year-old James Badge Dale (The Pacific, Rubicon), 21-year-old Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games, The Expendables 2) and, as previously reported, 32-year-old Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad).

Set to shoot early next year for a Feb. 14, 2013, release, the John Moore-directed film sends McClane to Russia, where his estranged son is caught up in a daring prison escape of a rogue political leader.

It's thought that the lucky young actor could inherit the billion-dollar action franchise from the 56-year-old Willis, who's starred in four Die Hard films to date.
