On sale in May, "Teen Titans" #71 will be Sean McKeever's last as series writer

Writer Sean McKeever announced in a message board post last night that he is leaving "Teen Titans" with May's issue #71. McKeever scripted the DC Comics series for 22 issues."It's been a wild ride for 22 issues (plus an Annual and Terror Titans)--sometimes good, sometimes bad, and often awesome," McKeever wrote. "I've really come to care about these kids during my tenure, but now it's time for me to place my focus elsewhere."McKeever will continue to be a presence in the title itself, writing a backup feature starring Ravager that begins in issue #71. "It's gonna be great to get inside Rose's head and write her with a first-person narrative," he said."I want to thank you all for your questions, enthusiasm, praise and criticisms," McKeever wrote. "It's been a real pleasure communicating with some of the title's most passionate fans."
