"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder surprised fans late last night, making Comic-Con International's traditional Hall H line-waiting experience just a little more special.

The Batmobile, accompanied by a police escort, drove up to the legendary queue late last night. Snyder exited the car, and began tossing t-shirts into an enthusiastic crowd. The filmmaker spoke with the fans for a bit before disappearing into the night, presumably to prep for today's highly anticipated Warner Bros. presentation with "BvS" stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill.

Check back with CBR later this morning for our live Warner Bros. report from Hall H, starting at 10:30 AM!
