Last week I asked comic folks if they had anything cool they'd be bringing to Comic-Con next week, and boy did they respond. Here's the first of many posts that I'll put up between now and the show to spotlight some of the cool items you can buy on the floor ... and, when applicable, where else you can buy them if you aren't at the show.

UDON Entertainment is celebrating their 10th anniversary with three hardcover books that'll premiere at the show. Regular softcover versions will be available in stores in August/September and are available to pre-order now on Amazon.

First up is Vent, the UDON 10th anniversary special. Illustrations, comic short stories and tutorials come together in a lush anniversary volume that marks a milestone of the studio's 10 years in creative art and entertainment. It's limited to 400 copies at the show.

The second is The Art of Darksiders art book packed with designs and illustrations by Joe Madureira (of X-Men and Battle Chasers fame) for THQ's hit video game. Joe will be making a special appearance at SDCC to sign copies of this exclusive hardcover. It's limited to 500 copies at the show. The third is the sequel to UDON's Art of Capcom art book, called UDON's Art of Capcom 2, containing comic covers, illustrations, designs, never before seen pin-ups and in-game artwork created by the studio for Capcom's many franchises including Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, Mega Man and the Versus series. It's limited to 500 copies at the show.Like with the previous two books, they have sample pages up on their blog, and you can pre-order the softcover here.
