Stan Lee has canceled his appearance at Comic-Con International in San Diego after reportedly losing his voice due to laryngitis.

"Stan is otherwise well and in good health," a spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter, "though he is disappointed to miss the event and wishes everyone a great time."

The 92-year-old creator had been scheduled for appearances and signings on Friday and Saturday to promote Stan Lee's Mighty 7 and Stan Lee's Kids Universe, among other projects.

The legendary writer and editor has been pretty busy these past several weeks, heading to Australia for Supanova Pop Culture Expo, attending the American Library Association Annual Conference in Las Vegas (where he was photographed with Congressman John Lewis) and flying to England for the London Film and Comic Con, where he was a presenter at the inaugural True Believers Comic Awards.
