SDCC Photo Parade 2013: Friday

We’re back with Day two of our annual Comic-Con International Photo Parade, featuring comic pros, Hollywood celebs, convention displays and plenty of cosplayers! With Jonah Weiland still playing the role of CBR castaway, Senior Editor Stephen Gerding provides the commentary under Pinguino Kolb’s photos. But enough with the jibber-jabber — let’s get on with the parade!

Story continues below

World’s End: Nick Frost, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg Doc Hammer and Christopher McCulloch

with Patrick Warburton (Brock)

I’m not sure, but I think

this is the stuff of nightmares

Gotham City BFFs

Kristen Schaal Bob’s Burgers executive producer Jim Dauterive

Really dig the composite Superman/Batman outfit Love – Flame Princess adjusts

Ice King before he goes out

Robot Chicken: Tom Root, Doug Goldstein

and Matthew Senreich

Ninjas: Always Prepared. The flip-flops

really bring it all together

The most horrifying flower-thing I’ve ever seen Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch (R)

Skottie Young Steve Wacker

Brian Michael Bendis Nick Lowe

Sam Humphries Rick Remender

Axel Alonso Joe Quesada holds court at the Cup o Joe panel

Witchblade cosplay always brings CBR’s photo parade

this close to needing a NSFW tag

Ironically, I’m guessing this Mr. Freeze costume

is rather hot by day’s end

Really impressive Nghtwing outfit Wil Wheaton

Alex Sinclair talks Superman Mile High Comic’s Chuck Rozanski

Jim Lee Scott Williams

A bedazzling Emma Frost and Mystique I’m not sure where the costume is from,

but it’s a genuinely intimidating look.

Costumes from Marvel’s “Captain America: Winter Soldier” Is this a Toonces/Lolita mash-up?

Is Homer Simpson/Vegeta now a thing, or is it

the same cosplayer every year?

Sweet Robot chicken costume

Even the Flash needs a car now and then If this isn’t an amphibious vehicle,

I refuse to believe Aquaman would drive it.

The green underlighting is definitely a nice touch I was really hoping at least part of this

car’s body would be clear
