Marvel Studios officially kicks off its Comic-Con International promotion for the week, debuting an "Ant-Man" poster that will be made available to the tens of thousands of fans flocking to San Diego.

The promo, announced on EW, features a piece of pre-production artwork from the heavily anticipated movie, depicting stars Paul Rudd (Scott Lang) and Michael Douglas (Hank Pym). The image, by artist Andy Park, also showcases the diminutive hero's costume, both striking a traditionally heroic pose and also in action as one of Marvel's oldest good guys rides into battle astride a flying ant.

The reveal of the "Ant-Man" concept art follows in Marvel's pre-Comic-Con tradition, which included Ryan Meinerding's art for "Iron Man 3" in 2012, and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" concept art in 2013.

"Ant-Man" is slated to debut July 17, 2015 and will likely make an appearance at Marvel Studios' Hall H panel Saturday, July 26, along with many of the other films that are currently on the studio's upcoming release schedule -- including next year's "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
