If you're unsure of how Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben will be portrayed in Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four," a quartet of profile videos will offer you further insight into the heroes, as well as glimpses of new footage from the film.

Stars Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell give a rundown of their respective character's motivations and powers in the videos, which debuted today via Rotten Tomatoes.

"Human beings have an immeasurable desire to discover," intones the voiceover to each video. "But with every new discovery, there are consequences."

"Fantastic Four" opens on August 7.
