The first trailer for "Vixen", an animated spinoff of "The Flash" and "Arrow", has arrived, showcasing the title character (voiced by Megalyn Echikunwoke) meeting Flash, Arrow and Cisco -- all voiced by their live-action counterparts.

First announced in January, "Vixen" is a CW Seed short-form digital animated series introducing Vixen, a character created by Gerry Conway and Bob Oksner and first introduced in 1981's "Action Comics" #521, to the same fiction world as the hit CW live-action "Flash" and "Arrow" shows. Stephen Amell (Arrow/Oliver Queen), Grant Gustin (The Flash/Barry Queen), Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity) and Carlos Valdes (Cisco) will all appear on the series to voice their live-action characters.

"Vixen's such a great character," "Arrow" Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim, who is working very closely on "Vixen," told CBR News in January. "First of all, she represents magic, which is an area that we haven't explored on either of the two shows just yet. One thing we're always saying is, "'Flash' is very different from 'Arrow,' 'Arrow' is very different from 'Flash.'" If 'Arrow' is crime and 'The Flash' is science, 'Vixen' has a big magic component."

"Vixen" is scheduled to debut Aug. 25 on CW Seed.
