Comic-Con International kicked into full gear Friday in a bustling second day that was capped off last night with the presentation of the 24th annual Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards. Here's the highlights of the announcements emerging from the second day -- and a few holdovers from the first day -- of the San Diego convention:

• During its annual "Cup O' Joe" panel, Marvel teased post-Avengers Vs. X-Men plans that include: A+X, described as "the opposite of [AvX: VS]," by such creators as Jeph Loeb, Dan Slott, Dale Keown and Ron Garney; Avengers Vs. X-Men: Consequences, a five-issue miniseries written by Kieron Gillen that addresses the effects of the summer crossover; Marvel NOW! Point One, featuring Nick Fury Jr.; and an October one-shot called Avengers Vs. X-Men: Babies, by Skottie Young.

• After initially dismissing Kickstarter as a potential source of money for the stalled Goon animated movie, creator Eric Powell teased he plans to launch a campaign on the crowd-funding website.

• IDW Publishing revealed that Duane Swierczynski and Nelson Daniel are the creative team for its previously announced Judge Dredd ongoing series. "I'd like IDW's Dredd to feel like a transgressive sci-fi black comedy police procedural -- like 'Law & Order,' if, say, Jerry Orbach were a violent inflexible fascist," Swierczynski told Comic Book Resources. "Someone who readers can't help but root for, since he's up against overwhelming odds in a city gone insane." Judge Dredd #1 goes on sale in November.

• Oni Press announced it will release collections of the popular webcomics Diesel Sweeties, by R. Stevens, and Double Fine Action Comics, by Scott C., and teased two new digital-first projects: A Boy & A Girl, by Jamie S. Rich and Natalie Nourigat, and Buzz! by Ananth Panagariya and Tessa Stone.

• IDW Publishing and Hasbro are expanding their licensing partnership to include a comic based on the toymaker's My Little Pony line and the popular My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic animated series, to be written by Katie Cook and illustrated by Andy Price.

• IDW also announced the release of Artist's Editions of Mark Schultz's Xenozoic Tales and Gil Kane's The Amazing Spider-Man, as well as two new Transformers series -- Transformers: Fall of Cyberton and Transformers Prime -- Rage of the Dinobots.

• Night of the Living Dead, written by David Lapham, will be the next ongoing series from Avatar Press.

Drawn & Quarterly will publish Michael DeForge's Ant Colony .

• In its "Ultimate Marvel" panel, the publisher announced it has signed Ultimate Comics Spider-Man artist David Marquez to an exclusive contract.

• Twentieth Century Fox is finalizing a deal for up-and-coming writer Jeremy Slater to pen the Fantastic Four franchise reboot, to be directed by Chronicle's Josh Trank.

• Lionsgate TV is developing a television adaptation of Zenescope's Wonderland comics.

• Total Recall and Blade: Trinity star Jessica Biel has been offered the role of the Marvel terrorist Viper in Fox's The Wolverine.

• Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has signed on to play the lead in Mandalay Pictures' adaptation of Horns, the bestselling 2010 supernatural thriller by Locke & Key writer Joe Hill.
