Scott Pilgrim, The Dark Knight Returns: March 10th Comic Reel

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD

It’s been a while since we’ve visited director Edgar Wright’s blog. How does he keep up the daily pace of photo blogging from the set? Wild.

Starring Michael Cera, no release date announced.

FANTASTIC FOUR … RELOADED?

The latest rumor from IESB is that the Fox franchise is in line for a reimagining, with a new cast and a new director. The site claimed, “the franchise is looking to be ‘less bubble gum’ this time round following the ‘Iron Man’ template, which was a complete success in reviews and box office take but a bit darker when it came to its superhero. ‘Iron Man’ was in no way as dark as The Dark Knight but was funny, action-y as well as a bit on the serious side.”

No release date announced.

THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS

Speaking of remixed rumors, the Herald Sun has a story claiming that actor Sam Worthington has been “tipped to replace Christian Bale as Batman.”

No release date announced.

TINTIN

According to Variety, director Steven Spielberg will be wrapping 32 days of camera work by the actors this week, and will be handing the film over to partner Peter Jackson for the effects work that will digitally convert the live-action actors into CGI models.

Release date: some time in 2010.
