He's already made the leap to film and video games, but now Bryan Lee O'Malley's music- and video game-loving clueless romantic Scott Pilgrim is getting his very own "Precious Little Card Game."

Designed by Keith Baker and Renegade Game Studios, the latest addition to the "Scott Pilgrim" multimedia empire is a deck-building card game for two to six players similar to "Magic: The Gathering."

In the game, players take on the roles of their favorite "Scott Pilgrim" characters, from the hero himself to girlfriend Ramona Flowers to his friends and bandmates. Each character has his or her unique starting deck, but the ultimate goal is roughly the same for everyone: getting your life together and moving in a direction that's at least slightly closer to adulthood, while also finding time for bands, video games and fighting robots.

Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Card Game

The key innovation of the "Precious Little Card Game" is its use of double-sided cards that allow players to decide how they want to solve the various challenges they face. Players can either employ hard work and empathy to each their goals, or simply "embrace the unpredictable world of gratuitous video game violence." While getting jobs and flat hunting are among the tasks players must contend with, there is also plenty of room left for fighting evil exes and collecting all manner of power-ups to upgrade their lives.

O'Malley has a few words of advice for those seeking to get the best out their "Scott Pilgrim" card game experience: "Invite your friends! Throw a pizza party! But don't get the cards greasy."

With a recommended price of $45, Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Card Game is set to go on sale this summer.
