Arnold Schwarzenegger's Guardian and J.K. Simmons' Detective O'Brien share the spotlight in this latest clip from "Terminator Genisys."

We've seen part of Simmons' performance in trailers, but this scene provides some context, with the FBI's questioning of Guardian interrupted first by the dogged O'Brien -- "I've been working this case for 33 years" -- and then by Jason Clarke's shape-shifting John Connor/T-3000.

Directed by Alan Taylor, the remix of the 1984 sci-fi action classic also stars Emilia Clarke (also in the clip), Jai Courtney, Matt Smith and Byung-hun Lee. “Terminator Genisys” opens July 1.
