Arnold! What is best in life?

OK, an update on The Legend of Conan isn't exactly the answer. It might not even be the best news of your day. But if you're waiting to see Arnold Schwarzenegger return to the iconic role of the Cimmerian warrior, then the Austrian Oak has a quick update for you: That movie, along with two other franchise resurrections, remains very much in the works.

Schwarzenegger spoke with Metro UK and gave a very quick update on the Conan sequel, plus plans for a fifth Terminator film and the unlikeliest sequel of them all: Triplets, a follow-up to Twins.

"We're writing it now," Schwarzenegger said of Terminator 5. "There are three projects being written that involve me. One is Terminator 5, the other is a Conan movie that Universal is doing and there's the sequel to Twins, which is called Triplets. We'll all look quite different in that. The third triplet is Eddie Murphy, so figure that one out."

Which of these movies gets off the ground first? Hard to say. But after the dismal domestic box-office performance of Schwarzenegger's The Last Stand, perhaps the better question is … will any of these movies get off the ground at all?
