The cast of AMC’s “Fear The Walking Dead” continues to grow, with Deadline reporting Monday that Sandrine Holt has joined the show in the recurring role of Dr. Bethany Exner, “a confident and skilled doctor.”
Holt has more than 25 years of acting experience, with recent credits including a recurring role in “House of Cards” as Gillian Cole, and a main cast role in A&E’s “The Returned.” She appears in upcoming film “Air,” which was produced by “The Walking Dead” franchise creator Robert Kirkman and co-stars Norman Reedus, of AMC’s original “Walking Dead” series. Holt also has a role in “Terminator Genisys,” scheduled for release on July 1.
“Fear The Walking Dead” is expected to debut in August with a six-episode first season, and already has a two-season order. The show is set in Los Angeles, and is set to depict a different perspective on the zombie apocalypse of the massively successful “Walking Dead” TV show, featuring characters original to the show and not previously seen in the Image Comics source material. The show also stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Mercedes Mason and Ruben Blades.
