Universal Pictures is rebooting "The Mummy" as part of their new interlinked monster universe. "The Mummy," which stars Tom Cruise as well as Sofia Boutella as the titular mummy, will launch the monster film universe's shared narrative. A new teaser has surfaced online, with narration from Russell Crowe's character in the film -- Dr. Jekyll.

New mummy Princess Ahmanet (Sofia Boutella) has been referred to as "the ultimate evil" by Russell Crowe's Dr. Jekyll. In the debut film for Universal's new "MonsterVerse," Dr. Jekyll is part of a secret organization called Prodigium that hunts down the various evils of the world.
