Fans of Marvel and LEGO's superhero line are in for a treat. Reports of new Marvel Super Hero LEGO sets due to be released next year have surfaced on Brickset and The Brick Fan. While official information about the two new sets has yet to be revealed, the rumor states that they will come with characters from across Marvel Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Most notably, perhaps, is the "Captain America Jet Pursuit" set. As one might expect, it will come with a LEGO Captain America (Steve Rogers) minifig and a hi-tech jet. What one might not expect, however, are the Super Adaptoid and Kamala Khan version of Ms. Marvel being included as well. Khan, you will note, took over the Ms. Marvel comic in 2014. The series then won a Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story in 2015.

That is not the only set on the list, however. There's one titled "Iron Man: Detroit Steel Strikes," which is said to include Agent Coulson and his flying car Lola. In addition, there are several other "Mighty Micros" sets on the list with photographs clearly showing their characters and accompanying vehicles: "Iron Man vs. Thanos," "Spider-Man vs. Scorpion," "Wolverine vs. Magneto," and "Hulk vs. Red Hulk."

There are also three sets on the lists that are untitled, but marked with the "Guardians Of The Galaxy" and "Marvel Cinematic Universe" tags, hinting that we'll see the big screen versions of Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Groot, and Rocket Racoon from the upcoming film sequel in miniaturized LEGO form sometime in 2017.
