While the particulars of the future of Warner Bros. DC Comics-based film universe is frequently hard to parse, most industry watchers agree that the long-in-development "Justice League Dark" film is still a part of the big picture. And now a rumor has hit the web that two Hollywood A-Listers are on the studio's shortlist for the lead role.

Latino Review has a report up claiming that Warners is considering both Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor for the part of John Constantine in the movie. The site claims that even if one actor wins out and lands the role, the other may be offered the part of Etrigan The Demon's other half Jason Blood instead.

Originally conceived by director Guillermo Del Toro (who has since moved on but left a script with WB), "Justice League Dark" is set to explore the supernatural corners of the DCU under the watch of producer Scott Rudin.

Latino Review claims that the director-less film is eyeing the likes of Ron Perlman to play Swamp Thing and Monica Belluci to play Madame Xanadu, though other roles are in flux.
