UPDATED at 9:26 AM Pacific: Warner Bros. informs CBR News that the release date for "Batman: Arkham Knight" has been pushed back to 2015 in order to "ensure that the trilogy gets the epic conclusion that Batman fans want and deserve."


Fans have been excited for the latest chapter in Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment's "Arkham" Trilogy, and today, Rocksteady Studios adds more fuel to the fire with a new trailer hyping what is without a doubt the most popular of Batman's wonderful toys: the Batmobile.

The latest "Batman: Arkham Knight" trailer runs down the amped-up capabilities of the Dark Knight's preferred means of transportation, which includes non-lethal riot control, armor-piercing incendiary ammo, a kinetic energy cannon and more.

Also of note in the trailer is the final screen which indicates a new release date of 2015, despite the official website still claiming a 2014 release schedule. CBR News has contacted Warner Bros. for clarification and will update this story as soon as we receive it.
