It seems that fans of Riverdale's FP Jones will be seeing more of the character in the show's second season, as Skeet Ulrich has been upgraded from recurring to series regular.

"We so loved having Skeet on Riverdale last year, that we couldn't imagine Riverdale without him," Executive Producer Sarah Schecter said in an interview with Deadline. "He's a stellar actor and we feel we have just scratched the surface of who FP is. We are excited to have Skeet continue on this journey and we can't wait for the audience to see what he is up to this year."

FP Jones is the father of Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and leader of the Southside Serpents. Ulrich appeared in seven episodes of the show's first season. Though he was cleared of Jason Blossom's murder, viewers last saw FP Jones in a prison cell waiting to face justice for his various crimes related to the case, including destroying evidence and hiding Jason's body.
