According to the cast of “Riverdale,” fans are in for a wild ride. During a set visit, several of the show’s stars pinpointed the tenth episode as a must-watch and revealed that it will truly tie together all of the different plots in the series.
“Episode 10 is a really fun episode and what I love most about it is that it kind of favors the whole group. Everything ties in,” shared Camila Mendes, who plays socialite Vernica Lodge. “Sometimes you see that the episodes, everyone has their own storyline — like Veronica is over there dealing with her mom and Betty is with Polly — and everyone doesn’t really connect in some episodes and I feel like, in this one, everyone is involved in the same story and it’s really a story of friendship and togetherness.”
“Episode 10 is a very well-written episode and so, in its execution, not much was lost. We at ‘Riverdale’ find ourselves writing and performing a lot more than what gets produced in post, and that’s natural with any production. So we end up holding onto certain moments that we love and then being a little disappointed when they inevitably get cut. But, in episode 10, we seem to have kept almost all of the bits that we all really liked, which is why a lot of people love it,” added Jughead himself Cole Sprouse.
Episode ten will also feature the debut of “Breakfast Club” alum Molly Ringwald, who will play Archie’s absent mother Mary.
According to the synopsis for “Chapter Ten: The Lost Weekend,”
