Rick Rubin’s ‘Star Wars Headspace’ takes EDM to a dance club far, far away

The music of “Star Wars” can now be heard in dance clubs across galaxies near and far, far away, thanks to this new album. “Star Wars Headspace,” layers iconic sounds from the “Star Wars” franchise over Electronic Dance Music, and is produced by Grammy award winning producer, Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, Run DMC.) released the full album art and the official track list today, which consists of tracks like “Cantina Boys,” “Bounty Hunters,” and “Scruffy-Looking Nerfherder.” Various artists also lend their talents to the album, including Kaskade, GTA, and Bonobo. Fans of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” director J.J. Abrams and Broadway hit musical “Hamilton” creator Li-Manuel Miranda will appreciate the track “Jabba Flow” which the two co-wrote and is being remixed on the album by Rubin, A-Track, and Shag Kava.
