While audiences received the briefest -- and blurriest -- of glimpses of Barry Allen's arch-nemesis in this week's pilot episode of "The Flash," new photos from the Vancouver set of the CW series now reveal Professor Zoom/the Reverse-Flash in his yellow-suited glory.

Originating on the GrantGustinNews fan site, the images reveal the supervillain apparently getting the best of The Flash (played in Grant Gustin) in what we can presume is an old-fashioned, super-speed slugfest.

In DC Comics lore, several characters have taken the name Reverse-Flash, but the best known is perhaps Eobard Thawne, aka "Professor Zoom," Barry Allen's most formidable adversary. Interestingly, in the "Flash" TV series, detective Eobard Thawne is the partner of police Detective Joe West, Iris' father and Barry's surrogate father. Whether this version of Thawne turns out to be the Reverse-Flash, of course, remains to be seen.

"The Flash" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
