The first look at the upcoming Pee-wee Herman film has arrived via Pee-wee himself, Paul Reubens. The actor has posted a still from "Pee-wee's Big Holiday," the first full-length Pee-wee project since the end of the Pee-wee’s Playhouse series in 1990, to his blog in a post excitedly titled "DAY TWO FILMING 'Pee-wee's Big Holiday'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The still itself offers little in the way of reveals for the feature film, which will debut on Netflix. It does show that Reubens still looks the part even after a quarter century away from the red bowtie. The blog post doesn't reveal much about the film either.

Wow, am I tired! Just finished the second day of filming. Hitchhiked yesterday all day. Got a ride, hitchhiked some more, then got another ride. A lot of traveling in two days!

Sound vague? Want to know more? Well, I hope you’ll check in here periodically and I’ll tell you what I can while we film. And please, see ‘Pee-wee’s Big Holiday’ on Netflix when it’s finished, won’t you???!!!!!!!!!

"Big Holiday" was written by Reubens and "Comedy Bang! Bang!'s" Paul Rust. Director John Lee ("Broad City," "Inside Amy Schumer") will make his feature film directorial debut with the Pee-wee film.
