Despite recent production problems, "Flash" fans might get a good look at the film's cast relatively soon, one way or another. Variety's Justin Kroll reported on Twitter has reported that Kiersey Clemons has a role in the upcoming "Justice League" feature film, a movie that will also feature Ezra Miller's Flash.

Kroll took to Twitter to answer questions fans had about Clemons. She was cast in the role by former "Flash" director Rick Famuyiwa, as they had worked together on "Dope." But it looks like Clemons may be locked into the role of Iris West, as she's apparently already shot a cameo as the character.

Also lot of you asking about Clemons, she did shoot a cameo in LEAGUE and has a deal to play Clemons, so she's not going anywhere— Justin Kroll (@krolljvar) November 2, 2016

If she somehow did fall out, WB could just cut that scene since LEAGUE similar to when Sony cut Shailene's scenes in SPIDEY— Justin Kroll (@krolljvar) November 2, 2016

Oops she has cameo to play Iris not Clemons, duh— Justin Kroll (@krolljvar) November 2, 2016

News broke earlier this week that the DC/WB "Flash" feature film lost its second director, this time "Dope" helmer Rick Famuyiwa, over creative differences. Whether or not that means the film will move from its March 16, 2018 release date remains to be seen, although it seems likely according to Kroll.

FLASH updates: Nothing clear but have heard its very possible this moves to a fall '17 shoot and likely pushing release but nothing official— Justin Kroll (@krolljvar) November 2, 2016

Directed by Zack Snyder and arriving on November 17, 2017, by “Justice League,” featuring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, J.K. Simmons, Willem Defoe and Amber Heard.
