With the successful opening of their 14th feature film, Marvel Studios is showing no signs of slowing down. "Doctor Strange" opened with $85 million domestically, proving that fans are still excited and on board for the expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe as it heads into Phase Three. This phase of films is barreling towards the next massive team movie, 2018's "Avengers: Infinity War" -- a movie that we know will unite Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange with Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Beyond that, though, there are plenty of mysteries about what "Infinity War" will entail. While speaking about his new sci-fi/drama "Arrival," Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner told HeyUGuys that at least what he's heard about the film is more than enough to get him excited.

"If I knew anything, I still couldn’t tell you. But I don’t know anything," said Renner. "I know there’s 'Infinity Wars,' I know 'Avengers 3' and '4' are happening. But I don’t know outside of my involvement or anything else. I can’t tell you! What if I’m dead in the first one? I don’t know. I might already be dead. ... I know the talks [about] what it’s about sounded fantastic. The Russo brothers [Joe and Anthony] have got some really great ideas and they’re following certain parts of 'Infinity Wars.' There’s some really exciting stuff for a lot of the characters, especially with… what they’re thinking about doing with Hawkeye especially, I’m pretty excited about."

Considering the film's title, it's a safe bet that "Avengers: Infinity War" will involve the mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin) and his quest for the ultimate power provided by the Infinity Gauntlet and its six Infinity Stones. We already know where plenty of the Infinity Stones are located, as they've popped up in the Marvel movies since Phase One. We could finally see all of them united in the upcoming "Avengers" team movie. If that's true, then Jeremy Renner's right; there's plenty to be excited about in "Infinity War." It's also been teased that the Guardians of the Galaxy will make their first on-screen appearance with the Avengers in the film.

"Infinity War" will also be followed in 2019 by a fourth untitled "Avengers" film -- one that was previously announced as "Infinity War - Part II" but we now know will take on a different name entirely.

“Avengers: Infinity War” opens in theaters on May 4, 2018, and will star dozens of your favorite superheroes. The untitled fourth “Avengers” film is scheduled for May 3, 2019.
