It turns out Disney's $4.05 billion purchase of Lucasfilm may have not have been the doing of George Lucas and Bob Iger, but rather the will of the Force.

As evidence, the Star Wars blog draws our attention to a pivotal scene in 1980's The Empire Strikes Back -- Luke Skywalker's lengthy lightsaber duel with Darth Vader through the bowels of Cloud City -- in which we can make out the familiar silhouette of Mickey Mouse. Well, his trademark head and ears, in any case.
