Those of us -- all of us, right? -- who can't wait for Hugh Jackman's final outing as Wolverine were treated to some nice reveals earlier this morning, as the title and first official image were rolled out for what's now known simply as "Logan." The poster and name change seem to hint at Mark Millar and Steve McNiven's iconic "Old Man Logan" story line, and director James Mangold ("The Wolverine") went a step further in confirming this by posting one of the script's first pages. Check out the image below for what appears to be a slice of the film's opening action sequence.

In what is a pretty clear attempt to highlight the film's R-rating, Wolverine drops the f-bomb right off the bat to let you know this won't be quite like the fan favorite mutant's previous outings. The script's narration also explains Logan's relative advanced age which has resulted in a "state of chronic pain," resulting in even more boozing for the clawed Canuck. On top of all that, the page hints at a grittier tone for the movie, indicating that people will probably be dying left and right during the course of Logan's final misadventure.

Now that the wolverine's out of the bag, so to speak, expect more info as we impatiently wait for March 3, 2017 to roll around, when "Logan" is set to hit theaters.
