With only hours until tonight's episode, "Compromised," The CW has debuted a new scene from "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," featuring Ray Palmer's attempts at get accustomed to his newly inherited cold gun.

After losing his Atom suit in "Shogun," Palmer has struggled to find his place among the Waverider team. In the previous episode, Mick Rory passes down Leonard Snart's cold gun, giving Palmer all-new purpose. In the clip below, we see Palmer having a difficult time with his new toy, while Rory advises that he has to play it "cool" like Snart.

Tonight's episode sends the crew of the Waverider back to the White House in the 1980s, during Ronald Reagan's presidency. It's sure to be a pantsuit- and hair spray-filled episode. "Arrow" villain Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and "Flash" villain Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher) are also set to appear in tonight's adventure.

"DC's Legends of Tomrrow" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW. The show stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Brandon Routh as the Atom, Victor Garber and Franz Drameh as Firestorm, Caity Lotz as White Canary, Maisie Richardson-Seller as Vixen, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave and Nick Zano as Citizen Steel.
