Marvel has just unveiled two more X-Men characters for its as-yet-untitled “ResurrXion” project: Psylocke and Gambit. The mutant duo join the previously revealed line-up of Old Man Logan, Archangel, Rogue and Mystique on the upcoming X-Men book. The announcement came in the form of a tweet featuring what appears to be the cover to an upcoming X-title. Despite today's reveal the artwork also features the silhouettes of two more characters who will also be on the team.

Looking at the silhouettes, there's a good chance the remaining two mystery figures could be Cable and Deadpool. The two characters are currently set to appear alongside each other in “Deadpool 2,” so pairing them up in a new X-team title would seem to make sense.

Occurring in the wake of the recent "Inhumans Vs. X-Men" crossover, the ResurrXion storyline promise to usher in a new age for Marvel's X-titles, starting with the release the standalone one-shot “X-Men: Prime,” which will serve as a primer for readers of the X-Men going forward.

Commenting on the storyline, current X-editor Daniel Ketchum said “ResurrXion is all about embracing the [X-Men’s] original dream of coexisting with humans and fighting together to make a better world. All the books in some way, shape, or form, embrace that idea.”

The editor further elaborated by saying “we’re going to get back to flights, and tights, and capes, and all the classic X-Men tropes. We very much want to harken back to that era where it’s the most classic iteration of the X-Men.”
