This holiday season, moviegoers will get an all-new sci-fi movie starring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence -- and no, it's not a "Guardians of the Galaxy"/"Hunger Games" mashup movie. It's an all-new film starring the two fan favorite actors as passengers on a spaceship making a long, long journey that wake from cryo-sleep 90 years too early. But as Pratt's character points out in the trailer -- there's a reason behind their early awakening.

This is our first look at new footage from "Passengers" since the first trailer dropped last month. The film also stars Michael Sheen, Laurence Fishburne and Andy Garcia.

Morten Tyldum, famous for “Headhunters” and “The Imitation Game” directed “Passengers.” “[Pratt and Lawrence] take the characters so seriously and bring so much to the roles with charm and intelligence and charisma,” Tyldum said back in August. “They really went for it and it is phenomenal to watch... In this day of sequels and reboots I think it’s refreshing that it is a completely original story with two of the best movie stars in the world. I’m very, very happy with the movie.”

"Passengers" is scheduled for release on December 21, 2016.
