The "Power Rangers" Twitter account celebrated this year's Valentine's Day with the latest in its popular "Rita Takes Over" stunt, in which Rita Repulsa (played in the film by Elizabeth Banks) was in charge of tweeting messages at franchise fans. While much of the day was spent with the evildoer offering twisted romance advice and promoting the film's Valentine's ecard promotion, the final tweet teased a crossover that will never happen, though the idea is nonetheless intriguing.

The tweet, of course, refers to Banks' other colorfully clad movie role, Effie Trinket, the fashionista in charge of helping Katniss Everdeen dress to impress in her role of Hunger Games Tribute. And while it's a crossover that will never actually happen, the idea that the two character somehow exist in the same reality put a smile on our face.

While Rita was busy wooing Effie, the film's Twitter account gave fans a Valentine's gift of their own with a new photo of Banks' Repulsa, wielding her new weapon.
