A decent number of details have recently been revealed about Lionsgate's upcoming "Power Rangers" reboot, and with the latest news surrounding the film, it looks like they're already banking hard on the film's success, offering a sequel -- of sorts -- less than one week after the movie's release.

IGN reports that a direct followup to the new film will be released as a graphic novel just five days after the movie hits theaters. On March 29, BOOM! Studios' "Power Rangers: Aftershock" -- written by Ryan Parrott ("Batman: Gates of Gotham") with art by Lucas Werneck ("Moon Knight") -- will pick up not long after the events of the reboot, following the new Rangers as they settle into their roles as intergalactic heroes.

Current "Power Rangers" license-holder BOOM! also publishes the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" ongoing comic book, along with the six-part "Power Rangers: Pink" miniseries focusing on Kimberly from the same timeline. Plot details for the graphic novel are naturally scarce at the moment, and the book will have two covers: a photo cover that will be available everywhere, and an illustrated cover by Greg Smallwood, which can only be pre-ordered and purchased at comic book stores.

Check out the pair below -- which give some of the best looks at the new Ranger suits so far -- along with the official details from the publisher.
