No movie is safe from the Screen Junkies' Honest Trailers, including the Power Rangers. After only a middling box office debut and split consensus among critics, the most recent Power Rangers movie is certainly ripe for Screen Junkies' stinging commentary, and they don't disappoint.

In addition to the obvious cheesiness that accompanies a film adaptation of one of the most over-acted and low-budgeted action shows for kids, the trailer points out the strange slew of  "random edgy traits" the five teenage heroes-to-be possess. There's also Bryan Cranston's Zordon, whose sole purpose is to "unload exposition onto the audience." The Honest Trailer also pokes fun at the film's many blatant product placements of Krispy Kreme by cutting them into a cringe-worthy montage.

Despite pointing out the glaring silliness of the film, the Honest Trailer narrator says Power Rangers deserves a sequel, if only to show Angel Grove get rebuilt after all that Zord destruction.

Arriving on Blu-ray and DVD June 27, director Dean Israelite’s Power Rangers stars Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, R.J. Cyler as the Blue Ranger, Becky G as the Yellow Ranger, Bryan Cranston as Zordon and Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa.
