Disney has released the first trailer for "Finding Dory," the long-awaited sequel to the beloved 2003 animated blockbuster "Finding Nemo."

Set six months after the events of the 2003 original, as the amnesiac Dory suddenly recalls memories of her childhood and sets off with Nemo and Marlin to reunite with her family.

Written by Andrew Stanton, who co-directs with Angus MacLane, "Finding Dory" features returning voice actors Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks and Willem Dafoe, joined by Hayden Rolence, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Ty Burrell, Kaitlin Olson and Ed O’Neill.

The film opens June 27, 2016.
