After a series of problems, Peter Sohn took control of Pixar's The Good Dinosaur and got the project on track toward a Nov. 25, 2015, release. Now, Pixar and Disney are showing off some new concept artwork as well as the official logo and synopsis from the animated feature.

“The Good Dinosaur” asks the generations-old question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? In theaters November 25, 2015, the film is a humorous and exciting original story about Arlo, a lively Apatosaurus with a big heart. After a traumatic event unsettles Arlo’s family, he sets out on a remarkable journey, gaining an unlikely companion along the way – a human boy. “The Good Dinosaur” is an extraordinary journey of self-discovery full of thrilling adventure, hilarious characters and poignant heart.

The Good Dinosaur features the voice talents of Lucas Neff, Neil Patrick Harris, Bill Hader, John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, and Judy Greer. The project will mark Pixar's return to theaters since Monsters University in 2013. This was the first year since 2005 that the animation house didn't release a major motion picture.
