Announced Monday on ComicVine, "All-New X-Factor" and "Spider-Man 2099" writer Peter David is expanding his current Marvel output beyond "Deadpool's Art of War." The four-issue miniseries is slated to debut in October and will be illustrated by Scott Koblish, seen recently on multiple installments of the "Deadpool" ongoing series.

The miniseries is set to combine Deadpool with Sun Tzu's legendary "The Art of War" and marks David's first time writing the Marc with a Mouth.

"[Dedpool is] a combination of Ambush Bug and Wolverine," David told ComicVine, indicating how he plans to approach the character. "He certainly knows he's in a comic but doesn't let that affect how he goes about his business."
