Paul Dini, one of the guiding forces behind seminal DC Comics cartoon "Batman: The Animated Series" and co-creator of Harley Quinn, one of the most popular characters in all of comics, will be writing the popular anti-hero in 2017.

Revealed in an advance look at DC Comics' April solicitations at Comics Alliance, Dini joins the creative team of "Harley Quinn" with Issue #17. He'll be co-writing an ongoing back-up story with Jimmy Palmiotti that will dig into her early days as the Joker's devoted girlfriend, with art by Bret Blevins.
