Thanks to CW Seed, The CW's streaming web channel, fans of "The Flash" can experience the first time DC Comics' scarlet speedster came to life on television.

Every episode of the original series, starring John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen, aka the titular superhero, is now available to stream via The CW's online channel. Shipp plays Barry's father, Henry Allen, opposite star Grant Gustin on the current CW series.

"Flash" originally aired on CBS from 1990-91, pitting the hero against a number of his comic book rogues gallery, including Captain Cold, Mirror Master and The Trickster, who was memorably brought to life by Mark Hamill. Though the original series exists in a separate continuity from the modern show, Hamill returned for an episode, providing an updated take on the villain.

"Flash" is available to watch now on CW Seed; "The Flash" returns to The CW for its second season on October 6, 2015.
