Oliver Tests His Recruits in New Arrow Clip

In this clip from tonight's episode of Arrow, Oliver Queen teaches his new team that fighting bad guys is not a game.

The Green Arrow's new team will continue to take shape tonight in the episode titled "The Recruits." On Felicity's suggestion, Oliver will begin training Curtis, Evelyn, and Rene -- but are they up for the challenge?

In this new clip, Oliver invites them all to the Arrow Cave for a game of "try and get past me to ring the bell." While it sounds like a simple game to Rene/Wild Dog, he soon learns that getting past the Emerald Archer is much more difficult than he could have imagined.

The stunt and fight work in this clip is movie-quality, due largely to the episode direction of James Bamford, who has worked in the Vancouver stunt community for over 20 years. Bamford is directing tonight's episode, as well as the 100th episode of "Arrow," which airs later this year.

Starring Stephen Amell as the Emerald Archer, "Arrow" airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, John Barrowman, Willa Holland and more.
