"Arrow" reaches its third season finale this week with "My Name is Oliver Queen," and in a freshly released clip from the episode, Oliver (Stephen Amell) sure seems convincing when he's talks to Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) about his imminent "rebirth" as the next incarnation of Ra's. Of course, that entails some unpleasant things, such as the destruction of his beloved hometown, Starling City -- the type of stakes viewers have come to expect from an "Arrow" season finale.

The third season finale of "Arrow" airs 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 on The CW. Here's the network's official description of the episode:

THE HEART-STOPPING SEASON FINALE - Everyone's lives are in danger as Ra's al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) puts forth his final plan. Oliver/Al Sah-him (Stephen Amell) must decide if he's strong enough to take on this new role and what it will mean for everyone on Team Arrow, and his soul. John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Jake Coburn (#323). Original airdate 5/13/2015.
