After 16 years playing Wolverine, next year's third Wolverine solo film will be Hugh Jackman's final turn as the X-Man. Many details about the film have yet to be revealed -- although a few tweets have clarified quite a bit about the movie. In a Twitter photo, Wolverine actor revealed the title for his last ride as the clawed mutant. The third solo Wolverine film will simply be titled "Logan."

Additionally, director James Mangold -- who previously helmed 2013's "The Wolverine" -- also shared an official teaser poster for the film.

The reveal of the title "Logan" may convince those that think the film is based on the "Old Man Logan" storyline. Hugh Jackman's on-set appearance has already fueled that speculation. There's also the matter of the child's hand holding Wolverine's in the poster. In the comics, "Old Man Logan" takes place at a point in time when Wolverine has children of his own. Whether or not that's the case here remains to be seen.

One thing we do know about the film is that it will involve Mister Sinister; the villain's arrival was teased at the end of this year's "X-Men: Apocalypse" and confirmed in a commentary track by director Bryan Singer.

Directed by James Mangold and starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant and Stephen Merchant, "Logan" arrives in theaters on March 3, 2017.
