If you believe the headlines, comics aren't "for" kids anymore. This may be true for some, and maybe some comics aren't. But there are still some comics meant for everyone.

Longtime collaborators Art Baltazar and Franco made their reputation putting out the kind of fun-loving, all-ages comics that could force even the most cynical fans to cry "Aw yeah!" This March, the Eisner Award-winners are back at it, as Dark Horse announced a new series from the partners starring their flagship original character during this weekend's New York Comic-Con.

A four-issue miniseries, "Aw Yeah Comics: Action Cat" promises "a new adventure for the valiant Action Cat and his sidekick Adventure Bug as they endeavor to bring comics to the good people of Skokie-even as the insidious Evil Cat lurks behind the scenes," according to a press release.

The creative team's celebrated works include DC Comics projects "Superman Family Adventures," and "Tiny Titans," the latter of which earned them an Eisner, and "Itty Bitty Hellboy" and "Itty Bitty Mask" for Dark Horse.

Kids, kittens, and grown-up comics fans can look for "Aw Yeah Comics: Action Cat #1" on digital and brick-and-mortar shelves in March, 2016.
