Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have descended upon New York Comic Con to declassify Season 5. Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb and stars Clark Gregg, Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen, Elizabeth Henstirdge, Iain De Caestecker, Henry Simmons and Natalia Cordova-Buckley gathered together at the Madison Square Garden to offer all-new details about the upcoming season, which will air on ABC following the conclusion of Inhumans.

Loeb took to the stage first and called the Madison Square Garden "the high cathedral of New York City." He led the audience in a chant of "Season 5," then thanked the people who made the show possible. He pointed out that this season will feature the show's 100th episode, after which he introduced each cast member one by one.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 will return Friday, December 1st with a two-hour premiere which will show the first and second episodes of the season.

Loeb then cued a retrospective of Season 4 to run, which highlighted the major moments and VFX from the season.

"We feel that we have this fifth season, really because a lot of the people in this room," Gregg shared. "You've stuck with us in a way that we talk about all the time... So thank you."

"When I first joined, it's always nerve-wracking to come in as a new actor to a show... I walked up to the offices, and I thought I was going to play a tough girl from Colombia... Chloe [Bennet] and Elizabeth [Henstridge] ran to me like they had known me their whole lives," Cordova-Buckley said, tearing up.

"It's fantastic. I go home and I have a wonderful family, and then I go to work, and I have this wonderful family. I'm blessed," said Simmons, whose wife recently had a baby.

Asked when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will cross over with Avengers, Gregg answered, "We don't know. We're awfully busy 9 months out of the year."

Bennet spoke about her "Fight Like a Girl" initiative, where she sells T-shirts and donates the proceeds to the Community Empowerment to finance medical clinics in Dominican Republic and Haiti.

A fan asked for some footage from Season 5. Loeb said he would only show the footage if De Caestecker kissed someone on stage. After some debate, De Caestecker went straight to Loeb and kissed him on the mouth. Loeb then cued the first twenty minutes of Season 5 to show.

Gregg teased some "unbelievable fights" for episode six, which he directed.

"Obviously, he knows these characters better than any director we could  have come on," Bennet shared. "He brought so much comedy, which I wasn't expecting."

A fan asked if Fitz and Simmons would reunite soon in Season 5, seeing as Fitz will be left behind on Earth while the rest of the team is in space. "I mean, no one really knows, apart from that man there at the end," Henstridge said, referring to Loeb. "At some point, somehow... I mean, space has separated them twice now.... They'll get over it!"

"I think Fitz has got some thinking to do," Loeb added.

To close out, Loeb rolled a gag reel from Season 4.
