When it comes to snagging a massive number of licenses and releasing generally adorable versions of those characters, no one does it better than Funko. As usual, the company came to New York Toy Fair with rows and rows of product to show off, most of which fall into the crazy-popular Pop series, but other styles like Dorbz, Rock Candy, Action Figures and more also made their presence felt.

Before diving fully into all of the new Pops on display, let's focus on a few important properties. And what's more important than big-time superhero movies? That's right, we're going to kick off with "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" and "Spider-Man: Homecoming." Both highly anticipated films will spawn Pops as well as Dorbz, Pint Size Heroes, Rock Candy and plush collectibles for fans to snatch up.

DC's comics and shows were also well-represented at the booth. The 1960s "Batman" series will not only keep inspiring Pops like Batgirl, Mr. Freeze and King Tut, but also make its presence felt in the Action Figures line that will include those previously mentioned figures as well as Batman, Robin, Bookworm and the Batmobile! Meanwhile, the CW shows like "Legends of Tomorrow" and "The Flash" plus the comics themselves will lead to more Pops, Mystery Minis and other offerings.

While on the subject of TV, it's impossible to ignore how great the medium is right now in offering wild shows. Funko celebrates some of those, both old and new, with a few different releases. First, and probably most surprising, is the "Twin Peaks" Pops and Action Figures. Those will be accompanied by more recent favorites like "Stranger Things" and "Westworld." Fun fact, the HBO show's Pops on display are actually hand-painted prototypes because they were just finished before the show began!

In addition to the Mantis and Gamora pieces, Rock Candy will also grow to include characters from "Lord of the Rings," the Alien franchise and Harry Potter! Other pieces on display included Disney's Moana, She-Hulk, Spider-Gwen, Thor, Captain Marvel, movie Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, a few Batgirls, Wonder Woman and DC Super Hero Girls versions of Bumblebee, Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn.

Dorbz also had a pretty heavy presence at the booth. Like its Pop predecessor, this line continues expanding with huge licenses, but also into larger scale pieces and even vehicles under the Dorbz Ridez banner. Just scanning these shelves shows off "Daredevil," Dr. Seuss, "Moana," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Big Hero 6," "Power Rangers," "Teen Titans Go!" "Ghostbusters," "Scooby-Doo," "Fallout," "Assassin's Creed," "Skyrim," "Doctor Strange" and "Mega Man" characters!"

Alright, let's get into one of the most popular lines of collectibles around: Funko Pops! While hundreds of figures were on display many of them have already been seen and are even available to purchase, so we'll focus on some of the newer reveals like the movie "Ghost in the Shell" examples that were perched high up on the top shelf. You can also see Luke Cage and the title character from "Jessica Jones" as well as Doctor Strange and his crew from last year's movie. For the 90s nostalgic out there, feast your eyes on the lines revolving around Nickelodeon original series' and "Space Jam!" We also hear that the kids like these shows called "Gravity Falls" and "The 100" too!

Finally, according to the person who showed me around the booth, anything related to the game "Five Nights At Freddy's" continues to be a huge seller. As such, Funko has massive plans for more releases including another wave of action figures, plus pen toppers, Mystery Minis, plushies and, of course, another batch of Pops!
