This year's New York Comic Con registration frustrated some fans who weren't pleased with the "fan verification" system that required ticket-buyers to prove their identity months before the release of tickets. The system, used to make it "tough for the supervillains [a.k.a. scalpers] out there" to buy tickets -- is now closed. Thus, if you haven't done fqn verification, you'll no longer be able to buy tickets.

Head over to the New York Comic Con website to purchase remaining tickets, if you've verified your status as a fan.

New York Comic Con is set for October 6-9 at the Javits Convention Center on 35th Street and 11th Avenue.
