With the premiere a little more than a week away, Fox has released what's likely the best trailer yet for its revival of "The X-Files." It's packed with paranoia, new footage and, naturally, plenty of Mulder and Scully.

The six-episode miniseries reunites creator Chris Carter and stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson 13 years after the cult-favorite original series. They're joined by guest stars Joel McHale, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Annabeth Gish, Annet Mahendru, Rhys Darby, Kumail Najiani and William B. Davis, who reprises his iconic role as the Cigarette Smoking Man.

The new episodes are written by Carter and series veterans Glen Morgan, Darin Morgan and James Wong.

"The X-Files" returns with a special two-night event, beginning Sunday, Jan. 24, on Fox.
